Juliet Forbes trained for three years and qualified in 2002 as a traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. The B.Sc.(hons) Acupuncture qualification is recognized by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board (BAAB), the leading Acupuncture accreditation body in the West. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and is insured through the BAcC.
The extensive formal training she has taken involves specialist courses with Zita West, a leading fertility expert in the UK and the author of the Baby Dream Maker. Another fertility course was taken with Jani White of Nature child Acupuncture for fertility. Juliet trained with Radha Thambirajah to perform facial rejuvenation.
Juliet trained extensively in Qi Gong Tui’na (Holistic Chinese Massage) and gained a diploma in this in 2004. It is a type of “acupressure” massage, which can deeply and quickly aid recovery form sports injuries or long tern muscle and joint pain.
Juliet was an assistant teacher of Qi Gong Tui’na at the University of Westminster, working alongside Rosey Grandage and Dr Xian Li Kang.
Juliet has been an Acupuncture practitioner for twelve years, and has worked at the Apothecary (Rosey Grandage’s clinic) in Baron’s Court. The Light Centre, one of London’s leading centers for natural fitness and health and Shenshakti in Belgravia. She was one of the founding members of an inter-referring practitioner group to help couples with naturally conceiving and delivering healthy, happy babies namely “Baby and Me”.
She is an expert in treating injuries or long term painful joint problems. As well as stress related conditions be it insomnia, migraines, stomach ulcers, IBS, exhaustion or allergies and fertility issues.
